Begonia Mix - special substrate for begonias and co

Most of the best-known and most spectacular ornamental leaf begonias originate from South East Asia, where they usually grow in limestone soils. Our begonia mix is designed to imitate these conditions. It is fine and very dimensionally stable and therefore ideal for the fine roots of these begonias. It also does not compact and therefore has a long service life.

Zeolite, pumice and lava granulate as well as the clay powder and primary rock flour increase the Exchange capacity for vital micronutrients.

Our substrate consists of:

• fine peat-free soil mix
• Perlite
• Pumice granules
• Lava granules
• Zeolite
• Clay powder
• Primary rock flour

Please note: Our substrates are not are mixed and filled by machine and can therefore sometimes have a slightly different composition. In addition, approx. 10% more substrate should be planned due to the pressing down during potting.
